Funky Ouma is the result of a very funky ouma of 10 grandchildren that’s been playing around with food and spices all her life, but only decided at 67 to start her own brand together with her youngest daughter. Funky Ouma offers wonderful farm fresh herbs filled salts and spices. They use natural course salt from the West Coast, Walvis Bay, and the Himalayans in their blends, the salt is ideal for cooking, braai, marinating, baking and everyday use. It’s a tastier, natural substiture to your everyday salt and spice.

10 out of 10 for flavour, but 5 out of 10 in strength. This is a versatile chillie salt that can be used before, during and after cooking. Great over avocados for a simple quick guacamole. Very tasty on chicken, steak, pizza, tofu and veggies. Our personal favourite, on eggs at breakfast time. Let’s not forget….amazing with your Bloody Mary.
